We are in-network with a variety of major insurances, and are working on expanding our in-network options.
We can also guide you in billing your insurance for coverage of our services as an out-of-network option (this is an option!).For details on all of this, see our Pricing & Insurance page by clicking HERE.

Our online therapy sessions (also called "telehealth") are all conducted by our therapists in private spaces, and our video platform is contained within our HIPAA-compliant Electronic Health Records System.
So your face, voice, and data are always private and protected.

There are some distinct benefits to telehealth therapy.
Therapy occurring by telehealth, when done well, doesn't really feel that different than in-person therapy.
It also allows for increased convenience, in that you don't have to carve out space for travel.
You just need to schedule it for when you know you'll have a private space for about an hour. This can be your home, your office, or your car during your lunch break. We see people in all kinds of spaces.
The important thing is that you find a private space (with a good internet connection) that you feel comfortable in.
Our system will always send you a link for your session 10 minutes prior to the session. So it will always be at the top of your inbox when it's time for your session.

We want to make sure that you are scheduled with a therapist that is a good fit for you. We also want to make sure that you are aware of what your insurance will cover for our services (because we don't like financial surprises, and don't want them for you, either).
The only way to determine all of this is for us to talk with you briefly.
We won’t take up a lot of your time. But if a few minutes’ phone call helps set you up for a really good therapy experience in the long run, we feel like it’s worth it.
Simply reach out to us on our Contact Us page.

This is a growing issue.
Therapists are finding it easier to eliminate the challenges and overhead that sometimes comes with working with insurance companies.
And we get it, it's not always easy.
At Heart of Texas Therapy Services, one of our goals is to make therapy more accessible and convenient for people.
Part of this accessibility includes being able to offer quality therapy that is in-network with an individual’s insurance.
Given this, we are committed to maintaining relationships with insurance companies whenever we can, in order to offer our services as an in-network option.
And for those who have an insurance that we aren't in-network with, it is still possible to bill your insurance for a portion of our services!
Please see more about this HERE.

For those who don't have insurance, or don't want to use it, we charge $130 for a 53 minute session.
The good news is that, even if we aren't in-network with your insurance, most insurances have out-of-network coverage! We can determine this for you. Read more on our Pricing & Insurance page.
We do not currently offer a sliding scale or discount program, though we hope to do so in the future.
