How Brittney Works

Brittney practices Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) and Inference-based CBT (I-CBT) for the treatment of Anxiety Issues and OCD.

Additionally, Brittney is experienced in providing Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Compassion-Focused Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, and Person-Centered approaches — drawing on whichever tools are the best fit for you and your goals.

Her approach is warm, collaborative, and trauma-informed, with a strong focus on helping individuals build practical skills they can use in their everyday lives — long after their sessions end.

Brittney also has a special interest in helping clients navigate boundaries, coping skills, stress management, and LatinX cultural issues.

Brittney’s Approach

Brittney believes therapy should feel like a space where you can show up exactly as you are — without judgment, without pressure, and without having to have it all together. She creates an environment where conversations feel natural and comfortable, and where there is always room for both honesty and a little humor along the way.

She hopes every client leaves their work together feeling heard, supported, and genuinely understood — with a deeper sense of self-compassion, practical tools for everyday life, and the renewed hope that a more balanced, grounded, and peaceful life is possible.

From Brittney: "Taking the first step toward therapy can feel intimidating. If you're considering reaching out, I want you to know you don't have to have everything figured out before starting. We'll work together at a pace that feels right for you, focusing on what matters most in your life. Whether you're feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or simply looking for support and growth, you don't have to go through it alone."
